Durbar Square, 2015
Sobering to think about the devastation of Kathmandu Durbar Square, which by most estimates has stood in some form since the mid-1500s. I'm glad we were able to spend more than a month in Kathmandu some years ago, and have often thought about returning. It's little consolation to say, At least we saw it -- though we can, unlike places like Samarra, Bamiyan, or Aleppo.
It's been a while since I felt that good.
Or had a beer this good.
Or skied something that looked so good, yet was so bad.
Early up!
Make room for dessert.
Girls.
Ski tune.
Pfft. Coloradoans.
Nice views.
Steep skinning.
Good turns.
Mother's Day.
