Rites of May: a trip up Lolo Peak.
Cooper loves Oliver. Oliver was a feisty bunny; luckily we only had him for two days.
He got a new/used bike -- a Specialized Hotrock. His former Diamondback RM12 did not fit and weighed close to what my bike weighed. So we entered the realm of kids' bikes -- where decent ones cost as much as an adult bike. The Hotrock used was $155, and I think it will keep its resale value. I just wish it had quick release wheels.
No one parties quite like Special Olympians.
Nell Ranch, Paradise Valley.
"The boundary beyond which events cannot affect an outside observer. In layman's terms, it is defined as "the point of no return", i.e., the point at which the gravitational pull becomes so great as to make escape impossible."
"I see the deers."
I learned dandelions are not considered noxious weeds because cattle will still eat them.
"49" = Park County, Montana.
Absaroka Beartooth
Repurposed sign not in a national park.
The parts of Montana not at snowline or above are now bathed in this surreal Velvia green -- old-school Fuji film users will know what I mean by that.
Crostini time on the ranch.
Deep Creek bank-full at high flow -- weeks earlier than normal.
It was Memorial Day in Montana, so of course it rained.
Wilderness warriors.
Finally, Pine Creek Falls.
