This bastard was literally trying to kill me. For a while I did not understand what was happening -- until he had me against a cliff. I had bear spray out and uncocked, but the wind was in my face. Rocks did the trick.

The 2015 Tour Divide is now on Day Six. The "race" -- there is no prize -- covers dirt roads from Banff to the Mexican border, and riders are self-sufficient -- they carry what they need or find it along the way. The two fastest racers so far have traded leads from the beginning, and so far pedaled almost 1300 miles pretty much without taking a break.

Rocks? Why didn't you just take him on? Your noggin is probably hard enough… I love the photo of that youngster shouting. He's a bashful little guy. The photos are all beautiful, but the picture of the tree in Glacier (birch?) is truly mesmerizing. The glow and the light on the bark… Thanks, Jeff.
